BHM were appointed by the school to design a new Pre Preparatory School on the edge of their playing fields. The project had six classrooms linked to outdoor covered play areas. In addition, other spaces within the building included SEN classrooms, Science and Art classrooms, a multi-use hall and a kitchen.

The main entrance has a glazed canopy leading to the reception and library. There is a circular atrium roof-light where the two main corridors meet, giving access to the classrooms and multi-use hall.

The Pre-Preparatory School sits within the rural landscape with easy access to the surrounding playing fields. Other external spaces around the building include outdoor play areas, a nature area, a vegetable garden and an outdoor classroom.
