BHM provided a new building in cast stone and glass, incorporating an impressive double height, 224 seat dining hall, kitchens and servery on the ground floor. The hall featured exposed oak finishes, a grand fireplace and chimney plus a minstrels’ gallery. On the first floor, a new sixth form centre was provided. Both main spaces featured large cubic rooflights in planar glazing.
