BHM were asked to design a new Sixth Form Centre next to Chigwell School's historic buildings and within the Chigwell Conservation Area.

The building provided a common room with servery, study area, four classrooms, two seminar rooms and toilet facilities. 

The elevations were designed to complement two existing adjacent historic buildings. 

The plan of the Sixth Form Centre is curved around an existing tree to one side and the boundary of the cricket pitch to the other side, giving its' distinctive shape.
